first_imgA man who spit at, bit and kicked Gardai has been told he will spend Christmas in jail if he does not attend an addiction centre.Emlyn O’Donnell, 33, appeared at Letterkenny District Court charged with a series of offences.But before his case could even start, Garda Inspector Denis Joyce complained he could get a ‘whiff’ of alcohol from the accused.
