According to PSTMO chief Jeck Conlu,the foot traffic at the Iloilo Business Club is growing. ILOILO City – The Public Safety andTransportation Management Office (PSTMO) of the city government will start asix-month traffic experiment at the Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao districtnext month. Due to the growing volume ofpassengers going to the Iloilo Business Park, four groups of city-boundjeepneys will be allowed to service the area – Pavia Highway, SM City Proper,Oton-Anhawan, and Leganes Highway. These are on top of those working invarious mall stores, hotels and restaurants, and condominium residents, saidConlu. This volume of passengers has actuallyattracted tricycles which are banned from national roads and highways, headded. “Mayara kita dira mga 20,000 to 25,000employees of call centers. Angprojection is malab-ot pa sa 30,000,”said Conlu. At present, only the followingjeepneys serve the Iloilo Business Park: Mandurriao- SM City, San Miguel andAlimodian (Iloilo). “After the traffic experimentation, wewill conduct an assessment. BATESVILLE, Ind. — Thursday night, the city of Batesville held their annual tree lighting ceremony.The even started off with several different activities in downtown including carriage rides, and exhibits.The Batesville Middle School Brass Ensemble and Choir entertained the crowd with favorite Christmas Carols.The city also had a kids lantern parade.Close to 6:00 PM, Mayor Mike Bettice took the stage and made a proclamation, making December 1, 2016 as tree lighting day.After the reading of the proclamation, the tree was lit, and downtown Batesville welcomed a special visitor from the North Pole.In case you missed it you can see a video of the ceremony below.
